The gorgeous Peter’s Twinspots or Red-throated twinspot (Hypargos niveoguttatus) is a common species found in sub-saharan Africa are rather shy. These Peter’s Twinspots for sale typically show brillant shades of red on the face and chest, chestnut  browns on the back, and black and white spots arranged in pairs or “twins” on their stomach, hence the name “Twinspots”.  Twinspots live in pairs and sometimes together with their young until adulthood. Temperament: Cock birds are very territorial and aggressive during the breeding season.  Pairs should not be housed in adjoining aviaries.  They tend to be shy birds and do well in a planted aviary.

Diet: Standard Finch Mix, Australian Blend Goldenfeast, grass seed, meal worms, and insects are their daily food. Require plenty of insects when they have youngsters
